Full job descriptionLooking for the flexibility to teach without the demands of planning, meetings and endless paperwork?
We’re working with a number of welcoming primary schools across Gateshead who are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Supply Teachers from September. Whether you’re returning to teaching, looking for work around family commitments or simply want more control over your work-life balance, we’d love to hear from you.
We are looking for teachers who can commit to a minimum of three days per week, with opportunities available up to full-time.
The role:
*Daily and short-term supply across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
*School hours approximately 8:30am–3:30pm
*Term-time only
*Deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain a positive learning environment
*Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
*Opportunities for longer-term placements if desired
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Recent UK primary teaching experience
*Availability for at least three days each week
*Confident classroom management skills
*Flexible and adaptable approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
