Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: 2nd September 2026
Pay: Up to MPS6 + SEN1 (up to £282.49 per day, paid PAYE)
SANZA Teaching Agency is thrilled to partner with a highly regarded faith-based primary school in Tower Hamlets to recruit a passionate and experienced SENDCO. This school is renowned for its outstanding SEN and Inclusion provision and prides itself on creating a nurturing environment where every child can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.
About the SchoolSituated in the heart of Tower Hamlets, this inclusive primary school supports a diverse community, with around one-third of pupils on the SEN register. The school is committed to providing tailored, high-quality interventions and cultivating a culture where all pupils are valued and empowered to succeed.
The RoleAs SENDCO, you will lead SEND provision across EYFS and KS1, ensuring the youngest learners receive targeted, effective support from the start of their school journey. You will play a key role in shaping inclusive practices and supporting staff development.
Key Responsibilities:* Lead and manage SEND provision for EYFS and KS1 pupils
* Work collaboratively with class teachers, parents, and external professionals to implement personalised interventions
* Monitor pupil progress, evaluating and adapting strategies to ensure positive outcomes
* Provide guidance, coaching, and CPD to staff on SEND and inclusion best practice
* Champion the school’s inclusive ethos and contribute to the strategic development of SEND provision
The TeamYou will join a supportive inclusion team, including two SENDCOs and an Inclusion Lead. Workload and responsibilities are balanced to ensure effective collaboration and mutual support across the school.

About You* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and we welcome applications from experienced SENDCOs as well as aspiring leaders currently completing their NASENCO
* Proven experience supporting pupils with SEN, ideally in EYFS or KS1
* Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills
* Committed to inclusion, equity, and the wellbeing of all pupils
* Enthusiastic about supporting staff development and sharing best practice
