Start Date: September 2026
Salary: MPS 1
Tradewind Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Salford area from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their career within a well-established Early Years setting, working across Nursery and Reception. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment, making it an ideal place for an ECT to develop confidence and thrive professionally.
The Early Years provision is well-resourced, with a strong focus on play-based learning, outdoor exploration, and early communication and language development. The school is committed to ensuring all children feel safe, supported, and inspired in their learning journey.
Senior leaders are approachable and highly supportive, placing a strong emphasis on staff wellbeing and ongoing professional development. As an ECT, you will benefit from a structured induction programme, dedicated mentorship, and regular guidance to support your development throughout your first year of teaching.
About the Role:
* Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across Nursery and Reception in line with the EYFS framework
* Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
* Plan and deliver creative, play-based learning experiences
* Support children’s communication, language, and social development
* Observe, assess, and track pupil progress effectively
* Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
* Contribute positively to the wider school community and Early Years team
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a strong interest in Early Years education
* Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework (or a willingness to develop this)
* Be passionate about child-centred learning and early development
* Demonstrate strong communication and classroom management skills
* Be caring, patient, and committed to supporting every child’s individual needs
* Work well collaboratively as part of a team
