Full job descriptionA reputable supported housing association is currently recruiting for a Housing Support Officer in the Norfolk and Suffolk area. This is a temporary contract covering a staff absence.


Length: 8 weeks
Hours: 37.5 hours a week – 09:00am to 17:00pm | Hub Home Roam
Hourly rate: £17.10 per hour including holiday pay at 12.07% or £19.66 (Umbrella)


The role involves:
*Undertake meaningful Support Planning and Keywork sessions with customers
*Ensure that individuals can adhere to the terms of their occupancy agreement, are signposted to relevant services and are supported to get involved in the wider community
*Undertake customer signs ups, settling in and routine visits, swiftly addressing tenancy related concerns
*Complete property inspections and compliance checks in line with policies, immediately taking action where necessary and reporting outcomes to the Property Services Team
*Take proactive action to ensure customers pay their rent and services charges
*Manage allegations of anti-social behaviour, undertaking legal casework where necessary and presenting in court
*Ensure recovery of debt and address anti-social behaviour including eviction action
Additional requirements:
• UK Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle.
• An enhanced DBS ideally from within three years or willingness to obtain one
