About the Role On behalf of a leading logistics provider, we are seeking an experienced Ocean Export Coordinator to join their team in Manchester. This role involves executing day-to-day ocean export operations, managing shipments from initial booking through to final delivery, and maintaining high standards of service for a global client base.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage end-to-end ocean export bookings, documentation, and customs clearances.
*Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing accurate tracking updates and resolving issues proactively.
*Coordinate with shipping lines and transport providers to secure vessel space and timely haulage.
*Ensure all international shipping, customs, and dangerous goods regulations are strictly followed.
What We Are Looking For
*1–2 years of proven experience within ocean freight forwarding, with a specific focus on exports.
*Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
*Familiarity with freight management software, such as CargoWise, and standard customs platforms.
*Ability to work from the client’s Manchester office.
