Salary: £34K +
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time (42.5hrs)
Our client, a well-established and growing technology refurbishment business, is seeking an experienced Senior ITAD Technician / Team Leader to support and oversee its IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) and Device Refurbishment operation.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead and support a team of ITAD and refurbishment technicians
*Oversee secure data wiping, refurbishment, and disposal of IT assets
*Ensure compliance with data security, environmental, and health & safety standards
*Monitor productivity, workflow, and quality control
*Train and mentor team members
*Maintain accurate asset tracking and reporting
*Support continuous improvement initiatives across the department
Requirements
*Experience within ITAD, IT hardware processing, device refurbishment, or a similar environment
*Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
*Knowledge of data sanitisation standards such as Blancco, ADISA, or equivalent
*Good understanding of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, servers, and networking equipment
*Strong organisational and communication skills
*Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
*Experience within a refurbishment or production environment
*Relevant IT or data security certifications
*Inventory management system experience
*Knowledge of e-waste and environmental regulations
