Full job descriptionPlanning Enforcement Officer needed in Stoke Paying £39.06 per hr ref 5298873
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
*Investigate alleged breaches of planning control and unauthorised development.
*Undertake site inspections and gather evidence to support enforcement action.
*Assess complaints and determine whether breaches have occurred.
*Negotiate with landowners, developers and agents to secure compliance.
*Prepare and serve statutory notices, including Enforcement Notices, Breach of Condition Notices and Planning Contravention Notices.
*Prepare reports, witness statements and evidence for appeals, hearings and prosecutions.
*Provide professional advice on planning enforcement matters to colleagues, Members, residents and businesses.
*Maintain accurate case records and ensure cases are progressed effectively and within agreed timescales.
*Monitor compliance with enforcement notices and planning conditions.
