About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Support Worker to join a busy and supportive hostel service at Snow Hill Court in Central London.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern 14-room hostel supporting individuals with medium to high support needs. The service provides short-term accommodation, with residents typically staying for up to 28 days before moving on to more suitable accommodation and support services.

Working as part of a strong multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in supporting residents, promoting independence, and helping clients engage with relevant services to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities*Provide high-quality support to residents with a range of support needs.
*Build positive and professional relationships with clients.
*Complete support plans, risk assessments and case notes.
*Support residents to access housing, health, welfare and community services.
*Assist clients with appointments, referrals and move-on plans.
*Maintain accurate records and update client information using internal systems.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
*Respond effectively to incidents and safeguarding concerns.
*Promote client wellbeing, independence and positive outcomes.

*Average client stay of 28 days

*No individual caseload allocation

*Night cover provided by a dedicated Concierge Worker
Shift Pattern*Early Shift: 7:30am - 3:30pm
*Late Shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm
Requirements*Previous experience working within homelessness, hostels, supported housing, outreach, housing support or similar settings.
*Strong IT and administration skills.
*Ability to work proactively and use initiative.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Experience supporting vulnerable adults with complex needs.
*Ability to work effectively within a team and in a fast-paced environment.
