We are working with a well-established professional services firm in the City who are looking to appoint a Facilities Officer to join their workplace operations team on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with some existing facilities or workplace experience who is looking to develop further within a fast-paced, professional environment with genuine room for progression.
The RoleYou will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of a busy office environment, ensuring the workplace is safe, functional, and operating smoothly across multiple floors.
Responsibilities will include:
*Daily walkthroughs of the building, including multiple floors
*Managing ticketing system and requests.
*Oversee office maintenance and repairs.
*Understaind Health and Saftey and conducting checks.
*Maintenance checks and reporting issues
*Assisting with contractors on-site and escorting them where required
*Supporting reception and wider workplace operations
*Handling a variety of reactive facilities tasks simultaneously
*Liaising with internal teams including Operations, Office Management, and Facilities leadership
*Ensuring a calm, professional, and efficient workplace experience for staff and visitors
About YouThe ideal candidate will have:
*Some prior exposure to facilities, workplace services, or office operations
*Experience working in a professional services environment
*Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with a wide range of stakeholders
*The ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks at once
*A flexible, hands-on approach - including being comfortable walking floors, carrying out checks, and assisting practically on-site
*A proactive and reliable attitude with strong attention to detail
The Team & EnvironmentYou will be joining a structured facilities and workplace team operating across different levels, from junior support through to senior leadership. The environment is professional, and fast-paced, with a strong emphasis on delivery and responsiveness.
