About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Caerphilly area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and deliver engaging music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities*Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons in line with the curriculum
*Encourage creativity, participation, and musical development in students
*Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
*Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
*Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular music activities where appropriate
Requirements*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting
*Strong classroom management skills
*A genuine passion for music and education
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
*EWC registration (or willingness to register)
