Full job descriptionLead Power systems Project Manager - Hybrid Renewable & Gas Power
Location: London (Extensive Travel to Chile)

An opportunity to lead the development and delivery of a large-scale hybrid energy platform for the Gente Grande project in Chile, combining approximately 1GW of wind generation with 800MW of gas-fired power generation.
Working directly with the Project Director and Board, you will take ownership of the planning, design, procurement, construction and commissioning of the project’s integrated power system.
Responsibilities*Lead development of the overall hybrid power system strategy and architecture.
*Manage engineering consultants, OEMs and key technology providers.
*Oversee permitting, environmental studies and regulatory compliance activities.
*Develop CAPEX, OPEX, project schedules and delivery strategies.
*Lead procurement activities, contractor selection and tender evaluations.
*Coordinate delivery of wind generation, gas generation and supporting infrastructure.
*Oversee commissioning, performance testing and system integration.
*Manage key stakeholders including regulators, consultants, contractors, investors and industrial customers.
Requirements*Degree-qualified Electrical, Power Systems or Energy Engineer.
*Strong experience in power generation, renewables, gas-fired generation or hybrid energy systems.
*Background in large-scale energy infrastructure development and delivery.
*Experience managing engineering consultants, contractors and OEMs.
*Commercial awareness with strong project management capabilities.
*Comfortable operating within a lean, fast-paced project environment.
