About UsWe are a growing waste management and environmental services company helping businesses reduce costs, improve sustainability, and remain compliant with waste disposal regulations. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated Junior Business Development Executive to join our sales team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in sales, business development, or environmental services.
The RoleAs a Junior Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and contacting potential customers, introducing our waste management solutions, and generating new business opportunities. You will work closely with experienced sales professionals who will provide training, support, and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities*Prospect and contact businesses via telephone, email, and social media.
*Identify customer waste management requirements and present suitable solutions.
*Generate and qualify sales leads.
*Arrange appointments and meetings for senior sales colleagues where appropriate.
*Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
*Follow up on quotations and sales opportunities.
*Maintain accurate records using the company CRM system.
*Achieve individual activity and sales targets.
*Keep up to date with industry developments and company services.
What We’re Looking ForEssential*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
*Self-motivated and target-driven mindset.
*Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
*Competent with Microsoft Office and basic IT systems.
*Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
Desirable*Previous experience in sales, customer service, telesales, retail, or business development.
*Knowledge of waste management, recycling, or environmental services.
*Experience using CRM software.
