Job Description:
Full job descriptionMeraki Accountancy & Finance’s city centre based client are looking to add a Hands on Finance Manager to the current team to take ownership of the finance function within a fast-paced, commercially focused organisation.
This is a broad and influential role where you’ll lead day-to-day finance operations, manage cashflow and foreign currency exposure, oversee month-end and year-end processes, and provide meaningful financial insight to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead and develop a small finance team.
*Manage cashflow, banking relationships, and multi-currency transactions.
*Oversee month-end reporting, management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting.
*Ensure VAT, payroll, statutory reporting, and compliance obligations are met.
*Deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis to senior stakeholders and Board members.
*Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, controls, and processes.
*Manage year-end audit and annual budgeting cycles.
About You
*ICAS / ACCA / CIMA qualified or qualified by experience.
*Proven Finance Manager or Senior Finance experience within an SME environment.
*Strong background in management accounting, cashflow management, and financial controls.
*Experience producing Board-level reporting and commercial financial analysis.
*Knowledge of VAT, payroll, and UK statutory compliance requirements.
*Confident leader with excellent stakeholder management skills.
*Experience with multi-currency transactions and foreign exchange exposure is advantageous.
