Full job descriptionMy client is seeking a confident driven Senior Sales Executive to joint their team in St. Albans.
Working alongside the Sales Manager the Sales Executive will:
*Consistently maintain a level of 75+ targeted new business calls per week.
*Build strong personal relationships with new and existing clients
*Negotiation with clients and suppliers.
*Submitting quotes, overcome objections and devise conversion strategies to win business.
*Talking clients through the customs formalities required to ship goods into and from the European Union.
*Account management and potentially client / prospect visiting.
*Attend and present in a weekly sales meeting
*Assist with Company marketing projects, for example LinkedIn posts, marketing literature, e-shots
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The successful candidate must have:
* Proven Business to Business (B2B) sales experience.
* Freight industry experience (would help but not essential)
* Sold products or services to markets outside the UK (would help but not essential)
* A friendly, engaging telephone manner.
* An energetic, enthusiastic personality.
* Is able to work to deadlines.
* Innovate and problem solve.
* Strong negotiating skills.
* Good attention to detail.
* Ability to work with and support your colleagues.
Fully office based- Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Up to £40,000 plus £10,000 commission
