Full job descriptionElevation Recruitment Group are working with a heavy manufacturer to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their established team in Swadlincote, South Derbyshire.
Salary- £56,000
Shifts- 4 on 4 off days and nights

*29 days holiday including Bank holidays

*Overtime available
Duties of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will include:
*Carry out work orders by the Planned Preventative Maintenance system
*Undertake diagnostic checks in machinery breakdown
*Complete timely and appropriate remedial work to return the plant to service.
*Identify any spare part requirements
*Diagnosing breakdown problems
*Install and commission to recognised standards any new or relocated equipment within the site.
We are keen to speak with Mechanical Maintenance Engineers who possess the following:
*Mechanically qualified with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
*Ideally apprentice trained
*Have experience within a manufacturing maintenance environment- ideally heavy industry
*Experience with PPM’s and breakdowns
*A sound working knowledge of modern pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components.
