Description
*Conduct thorough audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and processes.
*Identify and report on areas of risk and recommend actionable solutions.
*Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards.
*Review financial records and transactions for accuracy and completeness.
*Collaborate with teams to understand and assess operational processes.
*Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
*Assist in the development and improvement of internal audit procedures.
*Support the implementation of recommended changes to enhance efficiency.
Profile
A successful Internal Auditor should have:
*Ideally qualified within accountancy or audit
*Experience within internal audit or risk assurance
*Proven ability to analyse complex financial data and processes.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Effective communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
*Proficiency in audit methodologies and tools.
*A proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
Job Offer
*Competitive daily pay rate of £400 - £500 per day DOE
*Inside IR35 contract for an initial 6 month period
*One day onsite per week in Birmingham
