Description
*Lead and deliver the overall financial strategy aligned to organisational priorities
*Act as the principal financial advisor to the CEO, Board, and senior leadership team
*Oversee all financial operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory bodies and standards
*Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
*Produce high-quality management information and statutory accounts
*Provide insight and challenge to support decision-making across the organisation
*Develop and lead a high-performing finance team
*Monitor financial performance and drive continuous improvement across services
Profile
A successful Head of Finance will ideally be:
*Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent)
*Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role
*Strong track record of strategic financial planning and delivering organisational change
*Excellent knowledge of governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
*Strong leadership capability with experience developing teams
*Confident working with senior stakeholders at Board level
*Values-driven, with a genuine interest in making a positive impact
