Full job descriptionAn established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice in Maidstone is looking to recruit a Personal or Mixed Tax Senior to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional seeking a varied role within a friendly and supportive environment. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of private clients, including directors, sole traders, partnerships, high-net-worth individuals and property investors.

Key Responsibilities*Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients from onboarding through to completion
*Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns
*Advising clients on personal tax planning opportunities, including capital gains tax and inheritance tax matters
*Handling HMRC correspondence and enquiries
*Monitoring deadlines and ensuring all compliance work is completed accurately and on time
*Building and maintaining strong client relationships
*Supporting junior team members where appropriate
*Identifying opportunities to improve processes and add value to clients
About You*Previous experience in a personal tax role within an accountancy practice
*Strong knowledge of UK personal tax compliance
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*Organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
*ATT qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience would be advantageous
*Experience of corporate tax compliance would be beneficial but is not essential
