Our client, a highly successful and rapidly growing specialist claimant law firm, is seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor (5+ PQE or equivalent experience) to join its established team based in Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a top-tier personal injury practice handling a broad range of high-value and complex clinical negligence claims. The role will focus on serious and catastrophic injury matters, including brain injury, birth injury and amputation cases, as well as claims against NHS Trusts and GPs.
You will take ownership of your own caseload of both pre- and post-issue matters while being supported by a dedicated assistant and secretary. The position also offers strong long-term progression prospects, including the opportunity to build your professional profile and work towards senior leadership or Partnership.
Candidate Profile / Experience Needed
We are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:
*5+ years’ PQE in clinical negligence or equivalent experience
*Proven experience managing a mixed caseload, including litigated matters
*Strong technical ability across CPR and litigation processes
*Experience handling high-value and complex claims, particularly against NHS Trusts and/or GPs
*Excellent client care skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach
*A consistent billing track record and ability to meet performance targets
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
*A proactive and team-focused mindset
Desirable (but not essential):
*Law Society Clinical Negligence Accreditation or AVMA membership
*Experience using Proclaim case management system
*Involvement in marketing, content writing or business development initiatives
