We are recruiting for a successful and rapidly expanding private clinic who require an experienced and professional Optometrist to join their specialist clinical assessment service, working across their Central London and Surrey clinics.
This is a unique opportunity to move beyond traditional retail optometry and work within a multidisciplinary healthcare team delivering structured visual assessments as part of comprehensive medical evaluations. The role requires exceptional clinical accuracy, attention to detail and a commitment to high professional standards.
You will conduct detailed visual and ocular assessments, including visual acuity, colour vision and visual field testing, producing accurate clinical records and contributing to important medical decision-making. Working within established clinical protocols, you will collaborate closely with medical practitioners and other healthcare professionals to deliver a high-quality assessment service.
The successful candidate will be a GOC-registered Optometrist with at least three years’ post-registration experience, strong refraction and visual field assessment skills, and excellent communication abilities. Experience in occupational health, medico-legal, regulatory or specialist assessment environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
