Legal Assistant (Information Governance)
Location: Rochdale (Office Based) | Salary £25K | Full Time & Permanent

You will be working as part of an established Data Protection team, involved in live client work from day one, supporting schools and public sector organisations with Subject Access Requests and Freedom of Information.

Role
As a Legal Assistant in the Information Governance team, you’ll be working heavily around the Data and Protection of a range of Clients.
*Reviewing and Redacting Documents response to SARs and FOIs
*Drafting Client Correspondence
*Supporting Wider Data Protection team across day-to-day matters
*Building Direct Client Relationships
*Manage your own workload, and work to a clear service standards all within a professional legal environment
Who we are looking for:
*Must be a Graduate or soon to be graduate – Law or Compliance Graduate would be advantageous but not essential
*Methodical and thorough with a strong attention to detail
*A clear communicator both written and verbal
*Keen to develop within a specialist legal team
*Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
