Job Description:
Full job descriptionOur client, based in Cambridgeshire, is seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join them on a 3-6 month temporary contract, working on a restructuring programme.
This role is due to start immediately available on a full-time basis, paying £24-£28 per hour and offers hybrid working.
The successful candidate will bring strong judgement, excellent communication skills and the ability to advise on all aspects of a major restructure, including consultation activity and practical HR delivery.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
*Running full consultation processes including group briefings, 1:1 meetings, documentation, timelines and stakeholder communication
*Working effectively with unions in a highly unionised environment, maintaining constructive relationships and navigating challenging discussions
*Leading on employee relations casework as a result of change activity, including disciplinary, grievance and performance issues
*Managing consultation meetings with confidence, handling questions, objections and sensitive conversations professionally
*Providing pragmatic HR advice that balances legal risk, people impact, operational needs and organisational priorities
*Handling practical HR tasks including letters, notes, outcome documentation, process tracking and case management
Experience Required:
*Proven experience supporting with restructure activity
*Confidence running consultation processes
*Ability to work independently, making sound, pragmatic decisions with minimal oversight
*Excellent stakeholder communication, handling sensitive conversations, objections and challenging questions with confidence
*Solid practical HR experience including drafting letters, notes, documentation and managing process steps accurately
*Experience advising through complex change, providing clear guidance to leaders and supporting them through difficult decisions
Working hours:
*37.5 hours per week
*Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
