Job Description:
Full job descriptionService Advisor – Torbay (£30,000–£36,000)Overview
You will be the main point of contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring vehicle servicing and repairs are managed efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
*Greet customers and discuss servicing, maintenance, and repair requirements.
*Book vehicles into the workshop and arrange courtesy cars where needed.
*Liaise with technicians and workshop controllers on vehicle progress.
*Keep customers updated and obtain approval for additional work.
*Prepare job cards, estimates, and invoices.
*Explain completed work and associated charges.
*Upsell service plans, labour, parts, and other aftersales products.
*Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
*Previous Service Advisor experience in a motor dealership.
*Strong customer service and communication skills.
*Good administration and computer skills.
*Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
*Full UK driving licence.
*Experience with dealership management systems is advantageous.
