The Role:
As part of continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced and proactive Events AV Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of the Audio and Vision departments within their busy warehouse operation. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading teams to deliver exceptional standards. The Events AV Warehouse Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring equipment is prepared, maintained, and delivered to the highest standards while supporting the wider Operations Team in achieving departmental objectives. Working closely with technical departments, project teams, suppliers, and freelance crew, this position offers excellent variety and long-term progression opportunities within a growing organisation.
Key areas of responsibility include:
*As Events AV Warehouse Supervisor you will be supervising the daily operation of the Audio and Vision warehouse departments
*Leading and developing a team of warehouse and prep technicians
*Managing equipment preparation, maintenance, testing, and quality control processes
*Coordinating equipment turnaround schedules to support project delivery deadlines
*Driving operational efficiencies through effective planning and communication
*Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures and company standards
*Supporting stock management, consumables control, and warehouse organisation
*Working collaboratively with project, operations, and technical teams to deliver exceptional service
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
*Manage, coordinate, and delegate daily departmental tasks in line with operational requirements.
*Oversee the preparation and de-preparation of Audio and Vision equipment to the highest company standards.
*Manage equipment turnaround schedules and ensure all deadlines are achieved efficiently.
*Supervise the check-in and processing of dry hire returns.
*Lead, support, and develop a team of warehouse and prep technicians.
*Plan and prioritise upcoming departmental workload in conjunction with the Operations Team.
*Maintain effective communication with project teams to maximise operational efficiencies.
*Monitor equipment testing, inspection, maintenance, and quarantine processes.
*Support the management and coordination of radio frequencies and associated documentation.
*Ensure warehouse areas remain organised, safe, and compliant with company health and safety procedures.
*Manage department consumables, deliveries, and stock control processes.
*Support other technical departments and undertake additional duties as required to meet business needs.
*Ensure all equipment is presented to the highest standard at all times.
Work flexibly across varying schedules to support operational requirements.
The Candidate
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in an AV warehouse, technical operations, or supervisory role within the live events industry.
*Strong leadership and team management skills.
*Excellent planning, organisation, and workload prioritisation abilities.
*In-depth knowledge of professional Audio and Vision equipment.
*Strong understanding of equipment preparation, testing, maintenance, and quality control procedures.
*PAT testing knowledge and understanding of equipment compliance requirements.
*Experience with Shure Wireless Workbench and PMSE coordination is highly desirable.
*Strong IT skills and familiarity with warehouse management processes.
*Excellent communication and customer service skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a wider operational team.
*Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
*Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
