As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that bring physical and human geography to life. You will be responsible for planning and teaching high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the wider school curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
*Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum
*Teach a range of topics including ecosystems, urbanisation, climate change, and tectonic processes
*Assess, track, and report on student progress
*Support students in achieving their academic potential at GCSE
*Contribute to field trips and extracurricular geography activities
*Participate in departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
About You
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*A degree in Geography or a related subject
*Strong subject knowledge and a passion for geography education
*Ability to inspire, motivate, and manage classroom learning effectively
*Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
*Willingness to contribute to school life beyond the classroom
