An established international manufacturing business is looking to appoint a Business Controller into its UK finance team on a maternity cover basis. This is a broad, hands-on role with strong visibility across operations, offering the opportunity to influence performance, support decision-making and work closely with key stakeholders in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

Your Duties/Responsibilities
*Lead month-end close, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
*Prepare management accounts, variance analysis and commentary
*Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
*Analyse performance across cost base, margins and KPIs
*Business partner with operational teams to drive insight and improvements
*Maintain balance sheet integrity and oversee reconciliations
*Support cost control and working capital initiatives
*Contribute to ongoing process and reporting improvements

You Will Be/Have:
*Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
*Strong management accounting and reporting experience
*Experience in budgeting, forecasting and KPI analysis
*Confident working in a fast-paced, operational environment
*Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
*Hands-on and detail-oriented, with a proactive mindset
*Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or similar environments is advantageous

Benefits:
*Salary: £55,000 – £65,000
