Description
*Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
*Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end reporting processes.
*Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and addressing auditor queries.
*Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
*Monitor and maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
*Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems.
*Provide ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as required.
Profile
A successful Group Financial Accountant should have:
*A strong educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
*Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
*Proven experience in financial reporting and compliance within the consumer industry.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Proficiency with financial software and advanced Excel skills.
