Full job descriptionSchool Caretaker - Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire
Location: Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire
Role: Flexible Hours/Work Through Summer Holidays/Immediate Start
We are looking for a practical, reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join our friendly team at a specialist SEN School in Beaconsfield.
You will help maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities Include:
*Opening and securing the school site (key-holder duties)
*Responding to alarm activation when required
*Carrying out basic repairs, painting and maintenance tasks
*Building flat-pack furniture and moving equipment
*Conducting security checks and site patrols
*Assisting with fire, security and heating systems
*Replenishing site consumables (soap, paper towels, toilet rolls, etc.)
*Supporting planned and reactive maintenance across the school
About You:
*Experience in caretaking, maintenance, facilities or a similar role
*Practical DIY and repair skills
*Reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently
*Good understanding of health and safety
*Positive attitude and willingness to support a specialist school environment
