We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business that is looking to strengthen its engineering team with an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer. This is a great opportunity to join a stable site with modern machinery and a strong focus on reliability and continuous improvement.
The RoleAs a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving plant reliability through effective planned and reactive maintenance.
Key responsibilities include:
*Carrying out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on production machinery
*Supporting PPM schedules and responding to breakdowns efficiently
*Assisting with machinery installations and improvement projects
*Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
*Working closely with electrical engineers and production teams
The Ideal Candidate*Proven experience as a Electrical Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or industrial environment
*Strong Electrical fault-finding skills
*Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
*Able to work independently and as part of a team
*Relevant mechanical qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / Apprenticeship) preferred
