Our client is one of the UK’s most respected and prestigious Investment Management and Financial Planning firms, renowned for delivering sophisticated, holistic financial planning solutions to High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) individuals and families.
They are seeking an experienced and technically strong Paraplanner to join their London office (hybrid working). This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside highly qualified Financial Planners, supporting complex and rewarding client cases while benefiting from a collaborative environment that actively encourages professional development and career progression.
The RoleAs a Paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting Financial Planners by providing technical expertise, conducting detailed research, and producing high-quality suitability reports for a wide range of complex financial planning scenarios.
You will work with affluent clients requiring bespoke advice across areas including pensions, investments, trusts, inheritance tax planning, and wealth preservation strategies.
Key Responsibilities*Preparing comprehensive and compliant suitability reports
*Conducting technical research to support complex financial planning recommendations
*Analysing existing client arrangements and identifying planning opportunities
*Supporting Financial Planners with client cases from recommendation through to implementation
*Ensuring all advice and documentation meet regulatory and internal compliance standards
*Keeping up to date with legislative, regulatory, and technical developments
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:
*Previous experience in a Paraplanning position within a Financial Planning or Wealth Management environment
*Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, taxation and trusts
*Excellent report-writing and analytical skills
*Experience supporting HNW and UHNW clients would be advantageous
*CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential)
*A commitment to ongoing professional development and further qualifications
