Astro Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Congleton to recruit a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant for a long-term position starting in September.
This is a part-time role working every Thursday and Friday, supporting pupils within the Early Years Foundation Stage. The school would ideally like to appoint a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant, although applications from experienced EYFS practitioners are also welcomed.

About the Role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing. You will help deliver engaging activities, encourage positive social interactions, and contribute to creating a stimulating learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
Successful candidates will:
*Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification (preferred)
*Have experience working within an EYFS setting
*Demonstrate a nurturing and patient approach
*Be passionate about supporting children’s development
*Work effectively as part of a team
*Be available to work every Thursday and Friday from September
