Job Description:
Full job descriptionLegal for Landlords are looking for a driven and commercially focused Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support the growth of our Professional Services division.
The role is focused on generating and qualifying new business opportunities with letting agents across the UK, particularly larger agents with managed property portfolios who require support with eviction services, debt recovery, compliance, and legal processes.
You’ll be responsible for opening conversations, understanding customer pain points, qualifying opportunities, and introducing agents to the wider Professional Services team for full consultation and onboarding.
This is a fast-paced outbound sales role ideal for someone confident on the phone, commercially minded, and motivated by building relationships and generating opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Outreach
*Prospect and engage letting agents through outbound calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and follow-up activity.
*Target high-volume and multi-branch agents across the UK.
*Build relationships with key decision-makers including Lettings Directors, Property Managers, and Branch Managers.
*Generate qualified opportunities for the Professional Services team.
Lead Qualification
*Understand the operational and commercial challenges faced by letting agents, including arrears, landlord retention, compliance pressures, and court delays.
*Conduct discovery conversations to assess suitability, property portfolio size, current provider arrangements, and service needs.
*Identify opportunities for eviction support, debt recovery, and wider Professional Services solutions.
*Ensure all qualified opportunities are accurately documented and handed over effectively to the Sales Consultant or wider PS team.
CRM & Pipeline Management
*Keep CRM systems updated with accurate notes, activity, and follow-up actions.
*Manage pipeline activity and nurture opportunities through the early sales process.
*Support reporting on outreach activity, meeting generation, and lead quality.
Collaboration
*Work closely with the Professional Services team, BDMs, Operations, and Marketing teams.
*Support wider campaigns, webinars, and business development activity.
*Contribute ideas to improve lead generation, messaging, and conversion performance.
What We’re Looking For
*Previous experience in outbound sales, SDR, telesales, recruitment, property, or business development preferred.
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
*Commercial mindset with confidence handling outbound conversations.
*Organised, resilient, and self-motivated.
*Comfortable working to KPIs and activity targets in a fast-paced environment.
*Experience using CRM systems and sales tools beneficial.
Knowledge & Understanding
You don’t need to be a legal expert, but you should be comfortable understanding:
*Letting agent challenges and operational pressures.
*The value of compliant eviction and debt recovery services.
*High-level understanding of the eviction process, notices, and landlord support services.
*The importance of customer service, communication, and operational efficiency.
