A well-established manufacturing business in the Romsey area is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team. The RoleAs an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring production equipment operates efficiently and reliably, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance activities across the site.
Key Responsibilities*Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a range of production machinery.
*Respond to electrical breakdowns and carry out effective fault finding and repairs.
*Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the site.
*Work closely with production teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
*Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
*Ensure all work is completed in line with health, safety, and site procedures.
Requirements*Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent).
*Previous experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, food, packaging, or industrial environment.
*Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
*Experience with PLC-controlled systems is advantageous.
*A proactive and hands-on approach to maintenance.
