Full job descriptionContract: Azure DevOps ADO Consultant
*Duration: 3 month initial contract + extensions
*IR35: Inside IR35, via umbrella
*Rate: Open to a discussion
The role
To re-structure and optimise the client’s Azure DevOps environment. They need a genuine ADO expert who can design and configure the system and bring industry best practice to reshape how it is used across the delivery function.
Key responsibilities:
*Assess the current ADO configuration and how the system is being used across requirements gathering, sprint management, testing and defect management, and task management
*Work with the Change and IT teams to discuss and challenge proposed changes
*Implement the agreed changes
*Train and upskill Project Management, BA, and Testing teams
*Produce written guidance documentation where required
Requirements
*Proven expertise in Azure DevOps design and configuration
*Strong grasp of best practice across Agile delivery: requirements, sprints, testing and defect management, task management
*Able to review an existing setup, recommend improvements, and challenge stakeholders constructively
*Confident delivering training and producing clear written documentation
