You’ll be joining a well-established manufacturing site with a strong engineering team, good support from management and a culture where people are trusted to get on with the job. It’s a busy environment, but it’s organised, collaborative and genuinely somewhere people enjoy working.

The RoleAs a Shift Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining production equipment and ensuring the site continues to operate efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
*Planned preventative maintenance
*Electrical and mechanical fault finding
*Breakdown response and repair
*Supporting continuous improvement projects
*Working closely with production teams to maximise reliability and performance
*Maintaining high standards of safety and engineering practice
You’ll work a rotating shift pattern covering Earlies, Afters and Nights.
What We’re Looking For*Engineering apprenticeship with NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification
*Electrical or mechanical engineering background
*Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food, packaging or similar environments
*Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
*PLC experience would be advantageous
*A proactive engineer who takes pride in doing things properly
