Full job descriptionHigher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) / Cover Supervisor - 2 Days per Week

Working Days: Monday & Tuesday
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
A welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Putney is seeking an experienced HLTA or confident Cover Supervisor to join their team on a part-time basis, working every Monday and Tuesday.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong primary school experience who enjoys the variety of covering classes across the school while supporting pupils’ learning in a positive and engaging environment.
The Role:
*Cover classes across the primary age range when teachers are absent or out of class
*Deliver pre-planned lessons confidently and effectively
*Maintain excellent behaviour management and high expectations
*Support pupils to remain engaged and make good progress
*Work closely with teaching staff and the wider school team
The Ideal Candidate Will:
*Have previous experience working in UK primary schools
*Be confident leading whole-class teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
*Have strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
*Be adaptable, organised and proactive
*Have excellent behaviour management skills
*Hold an HLTA qualification or possess significant classroom cover experience (desirable but not essential)
