One To One Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established organisation to recruit an experienced Leasehold Officer on a six-month temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housing professional to take ownership of a varied portfolio covering Leasehold Management, Right to Buy, Shared Ownership and Commercial Premises.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality leasehold and home ownership service, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures whilst providing excellent customer service to residents, leaseholders and commercial tenants.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage and process Right to Buy and Shared Ownership applications from initial enquiry through to completion, ensuring all statutory timescales are met.
*Undertake safeguarding and anti-money laundering checks to ensure regulatory compliance.
*Manage the organisation’s commercial premises portfolio, maximising rental income and ensuring lease obligations are met.
*Work closely with legal advisors and internal stakeholders on leasehold, commercial and property-related matters.
*Support budget monitoring, financial planning and business development initiatives.
*Develop and maintain effective systems, policies and procedures to support compliance, risk management and continuous improvement.
*Build and maintain positive relationships with leaseholders, commercial tenants, legal representatives and external partners.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have
*Significant experience within Leasehold Management.
*Strong knowledge of Right to Buy, Shared Ownership and leasehold legislation.
*Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
*Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
*The ability to analyse complex information and make sound, balanced decisions.
*A proactive and customer-focused approach.
Qualifications
*Level 3 Housing qualification (or equivalent professional qualification), such as the Level 3 Diploma in Housing Management.
*Or substantial relevant experience within a leasehold management environment.
