Full job descriptionMaintenance Engineer - Electrical bias
Monday - Friday, plus on-call rota
Fully qualified electrician/HNC Electrical Engineering.
Role Duties:
*Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs on machinery in a factory environment.
*Respond to equipment faults by doing routine checks.
*Diagnose breakdown problems.
*Order and fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly.
*Carry out quality inspections on jobs.
*Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings, or components.
*Control maintenance tools, stores, and equipment, and monitor maintenance costs.
*Work collaboratively with the Engineering Manager and Factory Management to improve on-site health & safety.
*Ensure clear updates and communications with Engineering Manager and Head of Maintenance and Engineering.
Key Skills:
Fully qualified electrician/HNC Electrical Engineering.
*18th Edition Wiring Regulations - Required
*Previous engineering experience within food production preferred
*Ability to prioritise and organize workload
*Support maintenance assistant
*Ability to carry out planned works alongside breakdowns
*Efficient time management under pressure
*Excellent communication skills
*Team player
*Flexibility to work unsociable hours
