We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Sales Office Manager to oversee the administration and operational activities of a busy sales function within the residential property sector. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth progression of property sales from reservation through to legal completion, while providing exceptional service to customers and supporting the wider sales team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating sales administration processes, managing reporting requirements, and supporting senior sales leadership with the day-to-day operation of the department.
Responsibilities for Sales Office Manager*Manage and oversee the sales administration process, ensuring all sales progress efficiently from reservation through to completion.
*Monitor sales activity and support the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
*Lead, train, and develop Sales Administrators, ensuring high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and customer service are maintained.
*Coordinate workload and holiday cover within the sales administration team, ensuring continuity of service at all times.
*Maintain and update internal sales systems, ensuring data integrity and the timely production of sales reports.
*Act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries, ensuring all telephone and email communications are handled professionally and efficiently.
*Liaise with solicitors, surveyors, mortgage professionals, estate agents, and other external stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction progression.
*Prepare and compile sales performance reports, management information, and board-level reporting documentation as required.
*Coordinate communication and information flow between the sales department and other internal teams, including construction, technical, customer care, and commercial functions.
*Provide administrative and operational support to the Sales Director and wider sales leadership team.
*Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the efficient operation of the sales office.
Skills & Experience for Sales Office Manager *Previous experience in a Sales Office Manager, Sales Progression Manager, Sales Administration Manager, or similar role within property, housebuilding, real estate, or a related sector.
*Strong understanding of the property sales process, including reservation, exchange, and legal completion stages.
*Proven experience managing or mentoring administrative teams.
*Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
*High attention to detail and accuracy when handling data and reporting.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM/sales management systems.
*Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
