We are seeking applications from qualified Clinical Coding Auditors, qualified Clinical Coding Trainers and experienced ACC Qualified Clinical Coders who are interested in progressing their careers into Audit or Training. Key Responsibilities
• Accurately assign ICD-10 and OPCS-4 codes in accordance with national standards and guidance.
• Maintain high levels of coding accuracy, quality and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with national Clinical Coding standards and conventions.
• Support coding quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clinicians and operational stakeholders.
• Contribute to service development and coding quality improvement projects.
Clinical Coding Auditor Responsibilities
• Undertake structured Clinical Coding audits.
• Review coded data for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
• Produce audit reports and provide constructive feedback to coding teams.
• Identify trends, learning opportunities and areas for quality improvement.
Clinical Coding Trainer Responsibilities
• Deliver Clinical Coding training and development programmes.
• Support the professional development of coding staff.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and educational support.
• Assist in the creation and delivery of training materials and learning resources.
Essential Requirements
• National Clinical Coding Qualification (ACC).
• Previous Clinical Coding experience within the NHS or independent healthcare sector.
• Excellent knowledge of ICD-10 and OPCS-4 classifications.
• Strong understanding of national Clinical Coding standards and guidance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a fully remote environment.
