Client Details


We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a busy distribution business based in Dartford. This role is ideal for someone with strong sales ledger, data entry, and general accounts experience, who can support day-to-day finance operations and liaise effectively with the company’s external accountant.




Description
*Maintaining the sales ledger, including raising invoices and allocating incoming payments
*Performing high-volume data entry with accuracy across finance systems
*Assisting with bank reconciliations and ensuring records are up to date
*Supporting credit control activities, including chasing outstanding payments where required
*Processing financial data to support both purchase and sales transactions
*Preparing and organising financial information for the external accountant
*Acting as a key point of contact for Fresh Service Distribution’s external accounting partner, assisting with queries and providing documentation
*Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring proper filing of documents
*Supporting the accountancy team with general administrative and ad hoc tasks
Profile
The successful Accounts Assistant will have experience in the above and be on short notice
