Full job descriptionThe RoleOur client is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor / Conveyancer to join its established Residential Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to manage their own caseload while delivering high-quality client service within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities*Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
*Handle a variety of transactions, including freehold, leasehold, and shared ownership properties.
*Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other key stakeholders.
*Deliver high standards of client service across face-to-face, telephone, and remote communications.
*Progress matters efficiently and cost-effectively while meeting agreed deadlines and performance targets.
*Support and mentor junior team members, including assistants and paralegals.
*Utilise web-based case management systems to manage files effectively.
*Contribute to the continued growth and success of the Residential Property department.
Candidate Requirements*A minimum of 3 years’ PQE or equivalent experience in residential conveyancing.
*Proven ability to independently manage a residential conveyancing caseload.
*Strong knowledge of freehold, leasehold, and shared ownership transactions.
*Excellent organisational and time management skills.
*Commercial awareness with the ability to work towards performance and fee income targets.
*Proficient IT skills, including experience using case management systems.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
*A proactive, organised, and professional approach to work.
