Full job descriptionTeaching Assistant - Chelmsford - September StartProspero Teaching are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a warm, supportive primary school in Chelmsford, starting September. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young learners and looking to develop their career within a nurturing school environment that offers strong mentorship and ongoing professional development.
The school is looking for a committed practitioner with effective behaviour management skills and a genuine desire to inspire and support pupils across the primary age range.
CONTRACT DETAILS*Location - Chelmsford
*Position - Teaching Assistant
*Type of work - Classroom support
*Start date - September
*Duration - Ongoing / Long-term
*Full time/part-time - Full time
*Rate of pay - £90-£100 per day (depending on experience)
*Hours - 08:30am - 15:45pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS*Experience supporting children in a UK primary school (placements accepted)
*Relevant TA training or qualifications desirable
*Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
*Provide two professional child-related references
