The Company you will be working for;
MTrec Recruitment are currently supporting our industry leading manufacturing client on their search for a permanent Production Operative to join their Assembly team on a full time and permanent basis. The Role you will be doing;
*Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and finished products following work instructions and drawings
*Follow work instructions, drawings, and bills of materials
*Perform hand soldering and/or operate soldering equipment as required
*Use hand tools, assembly fixtures, and production equipment safely
*Carry out visual inspections and basic functional testing
*Identify and report defects, faults, or process issues
*Accurately record production, quality, and test data
*Maintain ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) controls and a clean workstation
*Meet production targets while maintaining quality standards
*Comply with all health, safety, and company procedures
About You;
*Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment
*Good manual dexterity and hand–eye coordination
*Ability to read and follow instructions, working to high levels of accuracy
*Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
*Good communication and teamwork skills
*Basic understanding of electronic components
*Hand soldering experience (through-hole)
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Basic computer skills for machine interface and data entry
*GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English
*On-the-job training is often provided
*Reliability and punctuality
