REED are proud to be working in partnership with a valued client in Cambridge to recruit a Cleaning Supervisor on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and hands-on individual to lead a small cleaning team within a well-established organisation.
The Role
As Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are consistently met, and supporting the wider team.
Working hours:
*Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 1:30pm
*Plus one 3-hour shift on a Saturday once per month
Key Responsibilities
*Supervise and support a team of cleaning staff
*Ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard and in line with health & safety requirements
*Allocate tasks and manage daily cleaning schedules
*Carry out regular quality checks and audits
*Provide training and support to team members where required
*Maintain cleaning supplies and report any shortages or issues
About You
*Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities role, ideally with supervisory responsibility
*Strong organisational and leadership skills
*A hands-on approach with a strong attention to detail
*Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
*Good understanding of health & safety standards
