Position: Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant
Contract: Full Time / Long-Term Role
Start Date: September 2026
We are currently recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive school in the Sevenoaks area.
This position requires someone who has experience working with students with SEN needs and who is confident supporting learning through targeted interventions.
You will work closely with teaching staff to provide personalised support, helping students access the curriculum, develop independence, and achieve their academic and personal goals.
The role will involve:
*Supporting students with additional learning needs
*Delivering intervention sessions and targeted support
*Assisting pupils both inside and outside the classroom
*Encouraging confidence, engagement, and independence
*Working collaboratively with teachers and the SEN team
The successful candidate will have:
*Previous experience supporting students with SEN
*Experience delivering interventions or small group support
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*A calm, encouraging, and proactive approach
*Ideally a degree, preferably in a core subject or Social Science area
