Full job descriptionThe Purchase Ledger role in the industrial/manufacturing sector involves managing and maintaining accurate financial records for the accounts payable function. This temporary position is based in Knottingley and requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and finance.

Description
Key Responsibilities*Processing a high volume of invoices (1000+ per month)
*Manually inputting invoices onto the system with accuracy
*Managing BACS payment runs
*Maintaining a clean and accurate purchase ledger
*Full end-to-end accounts payable responsibilities
*Supporting the wider finance team as needed
Profile
About You*At least 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role
*Confident and able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
*Experience with sales ledger would be an advantage
*Good working knowledge of finance systems and Excel

*Competitive hourly pay ranging from £12.00 to £15.00, depending on experience.
