An award-winning RIBA Chartered architectural practice in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join its expanding team. Renowned for delivering high-quality design solutions and exceptional client service, the practice works across a diverse portfolio of projects within the healthcare, hospitality, education, and residential sectors. This position is ideal for a technically focused Architectural Technologist with solid industry experience, strong Revit capabilities, and a thorough understanding of UK construction standards. Previous involvement in healthcare and residential projects would be advantageous.

Requirements for the Architectural Technologist Role* Demonstrable experience working across a range of RIBA work stages
* Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD within a BIM-led environment
* HNC/HND qualification in an architectural or construction-related discipline, or equivalent experience
* CIAT membership, or working towards chartered status, would be beneficial
* Comprehensive understanding of UK Building Regulations and technical standards
* Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities* Produce accurate technical drawings, details, and project documentation in accordance with company standards
* Coordinate project information, including drawings, specifications, and schedules, using BIM and CAD software
* Assist with project management responsibilities when required, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Attend site inspections, client consultations, and project coordination meetings throughout the design and construction process
* Maintain organised and up-to-date project records while ensuring compliance with contractual and appointment requirements
* Support quality assurance procedures and escalate technical or project-related issues to senior colleagues when necessary
