Hours:8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract:Full-Time, Term Time Only
A welcoming primary school in Camden is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026. This full-time role will be based within the school’s 2-Year-Old Provision/Nursery, supporting young children during this crucial stage of their development.
The successful candidate will ideally hold a Level 2 Early Years qualification and have previous experience working with nursery-aged children. The school is looking for someone who is nurturing, proactive, and passionate about supporting children’s learning through play and structured activities.
Key Responsibilities:*Supporting children within the 2-Year-Old Provision and Nursery setting.
*Assisting with the delivery of engaging learning activities.
*Encouraging children’s communication, social, and emotional development.
*Supporting the class teacher and wider Early Years team.
*Creating a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:*A Level 2 Early Years qualification (preferred).
*Experience working with children in an Early Years setting.
*A good understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
*A caring and patient approach.
*Strong communication and teamwork skills.
