Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Town Planner to join a well-established and growing planning consultancy. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely while becoming part of a supportive and collaborative team delivering a diverse range of planning projects across the UK.
Whether you are seeking a part-time position to fit around other commitments or a full-time role with long-term career progression, this opportunity can be tailored to suit the right candidate.
The RoleAs a Town Planner, you will be responsible for managing planning applications, providing strategic planning advice, and supporting clients through the planning process from inception to determination.
Key responsibilities include:
*Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
*Conducting planning policy research and site appraisals
*Producing planning statements and supporting reports
*Liaising with local authorities, consultees, and stakeholders
*Advising clients on planning risks and opportunities
*Managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively
*Supporting business development activities where appropriate
About YouThe successful candidate will possess:
*A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
*MRTPI status or working towards chartership (preferred)
*Previous experience within a planning consultancy, local authority, or developer environment
*Strong knowledge of the UK planning system
*Excellent report writing and communication skills
*The ability to work independently while remaining a proactive team player
*Strong organisational and project management skills
